WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR THIS YEAR?

Spread the love

This year I am thankful for my family. They have helped me so much and with living on my own, I appreciate the help I’ve received from them. I also appreciate the examples they’ve set both good and bad because they teach me what I should be doing and what I hope I never have to do.

I am thankful for the jobs I have that help me pay my bills. I’m still a broke college students but I do have an apartment, food and clothes.

I am thankful for a roommate I get along with. I’m a very particular person and I’m very grateful I’ve been blessed with an understanding roommate. She helps me become a better person. And my other roommates… They help me learn to be more patient and to have more humility.

I am thankful for my friends I have made this semester. They’ve helped me get this far in the semester and I absolutely love how we’re always spending time together whenever our schedules allow.

I am thankful for my best friends that let me call them all the time to vent. They’ve been so amazing in helping me grow to be a better person. They’ve been so helpful in assisting me in always looking at the bigger in the situation.

I am thankful for kindle e-readers and the many books out there in the world. My kindle is probably one of the most important materialistic thing I own because of my love for books.

I am also thankful for those guys on campus who hold doors open for me, let me walk ahead of them, or press the crossing button for me. Your actions literally melt my heart. And I appreciate the acts of chivalry.

I am thankful for all the trials and challenges I’ve encountered this far not only this year but my life in general. I have grown so much over these last couple of months. I can honestly say, looking back a couple of years ago, I am so proud of how far I’ve come. I could go on and on about all the other little things I am thankful for, but the list will be pretty long. I’m very grateful for everything I have, everyone in my life, and anything else in between. I’ve always said, I’m not lucky. But always Blessed.
