Happy Thanksgiving 2018
Happy Thanksgiving!
What are you thankful for?
I am thankful first and foremost, God. For His endless love He has for me. He never fails to keep me in His sights and continually blesses me even when I’m so undeserving. He never fails to show me and remind me that He loves me.
Secondly, my FAMILY? I can’t imagine where I’d even be without them. My mom and step dad, I’m so grateful for them and all they do for my siblings and I. I don’t always express my love and gratitude for them and I just want them to know I appreciate them. My siblings are my world. They are the best and I would not trade them for anything in the world. My baby, Koa. You are my life and I’m so very blessed to be your Aunt! I love you so much and aunty will continue to spoil you. Just want to shout out my extended family. My grandma, aunt’s, uncle’s and cousin’s for taking care of me, and always being there for my siblings and I. The support of my family means the world to me especially with my blogging journey.
Third, I am thankful for everything else. My job that allows me to keep a roof over my head, food on the table and the clothes on my back. I can’t forget books, I’m so thankful we have books that keep me entertained. They let me escape my problems for a bit and enjoy the fiction world. I’m grateful for the game of football and the excitement I feel when my team is playing. I’m so grateful for the friends I have. For the love they have for me, and my really loud laughs. For the jokes I always have and my sassy sarcastic mouth. It’s always a good time with them and I appreciate their friendships more than they know.
As I reflect, this is the second thanksgiving I’ve spent alone. It makes me appreciate the memories of the thanksgiving days I’ve spent with my family. I cherish those memories and I can’t wait until the next thanksgiving I’m able to spend with them. I am truly blessed and I am grateful for that fact. I hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving! Nothing but love for you?
