From Uilahs Blog to The SassiNess

As I continue on my blogging journey and pursue it wholeheartedly, I decided to change my blog name and my Instagram blog handle. I felt “uilahs blog” was boring and unoriginal. For the most part I wanted to keep who I am as Janessa-Michelle separate from who I was as a blogger. So I chose the name Uilah. Uilah originates from my Samoan name ‘Teuila’. But I still felt as if I wasn’t being my entire self. So now with that in mind, I’ve decided to embrace the blogging journey with my name that I love so much.

    I’ve always been told that I was “sassy”. And for the most part I’d totally deny it, although deep down I knew without a shadow of a doubt, that I indeed am very sassy. I remember there was a week straight were almost every day someone made a comment about my sassiness and really, I thought it was the funniest thing ever. Which leads me to how I put together my new blog instagram handle.

    I wanted a handle that was unique, witty and something that is me. My friends and family call me “Ness” for short. As I thought long and hard about a name, I finally stumbled on the word “sassy”. So I combined Sassy with Ness and now we have “The SassiNess”. This handle really is perfect for me and I can’t wait to grace your timelines with more of what makes me, ME!
