I had this idea of doing a snack haul and it just seemed overall pretty fun. I also have a video I will post this week that will be the visual aid for this post. Growing up in Hawai’i, food is heavily influenced by many cultures. In this post I will share some of my favorite snacks in a snack haul- The Asian Market edition.
1. Lucky Candy

The first snack on our list takes me to my childhood days. Lucky Candy is a strawberry flavored candy. It is hard on the outside with a filling inside. If I remember correctly the first time I tried these I was in the nail salon in my hometown. From that first taste I was HOOKED! Some times it hard to stop after one piece.
2. Taro Buns

It’s all about those BUNS! These are called Taro Buns made from the Taro plant. In many different cultures taro is a main sustenance. Taro can be used in many different ways, it can be made into dessert and main dishes. The Taro Buns is one of my favorite ways to enjoy the Taro plant. It’s light and fluffy with a hint of sweetness. Warmed it up and lather some butter on it and it’even BETTER.
3. Boba Powder and Pearls

Snack #3 is a part of my current obsession: BOBA. We have some Mango Boba Powder and the Tapioca Boba pearls. I absolutely LOVE boba. I’m very excited to try making it at home. Lately I have been watching lots of videos on how to make boba the way I like it! Who knows I just might make a Boba Making video and share it on my IG? If you haven’t tried Boba or Bubble tea I definitely recommend it. If you have tried Boba let me know what your favorite flavor is in the comments below!
4. Hello Panda

I cannot get enough of these crackers! Hello Panda are these crackers that are shaped like a panda’s head and it’s filled with chocolate. They are really good little treats and are absolutely addicting. My favorite way to eat these is to throw them in the freezer so the chocolate hardens. It taste AMAZING!
5 Rice Crackers

We LOVE Rice Crackers in my family! There are two different flavors. We have seaweed and sugar. Rice Crackers in our house does not last long because it’s just too hard to stop after one pack! Each bag has about 12 packs and each pack has 2 crackers in them. Need a snack? Rice Crackers are always a good choice. We would highly recommend trying them!
6. Skyflake Crack

Last snack on our list is another family favorite. My mom especially loves SkyFlakes Crackers. These crackers pair well with hot chocolate and are the perfect combo for the winter season. Again, these never last long in our house because we love them so much.

As an Asian (Filipino), I totally agree with this list. I loooove boba milk tea. Make a video please. And every family grocery shopping, SkyFlakes is always on the list.
